The site What to Pack in Hospital Bag was inspired by the recent birth of my daughter Laura who came in to this world in late September 2012.  As a bloke I looked to my partner for guidance throughout the pregnancy but one thing is for sure I always made sure she was comfortable.  Preparing to be a parent is like heading towards the unknown, its scary yet exciting.  I don't think anything will prepare you for what is in store after the birth but one thing I have learned is expect the unexpected and be prepared.
